Abstract:

Those few years,

Spent observing previously imperceptible unicellular lives through my microscope,                                                                                                                                                                                    Realizing the unfathomable number of tiny existences I would never see,

Feeling the limitations of my perspective,

Those few years significantly altered the way I move through and perceive our planet.

Introduction:

Primarily preoccupied with the appendages, organs, and microorganisms,

The components that compose the whole,

I constantly seek dissection.

Testing:

My Physipsychology

I surmise I will continue to

A. Aim my microscopic eye at the individual screws that support the intangible structures many of us exist within

     Note: Focus on the fragments

Note: Meditate on the minuscule memories

B. Zoom in on the absurdities and peculiarities of the roles, rules, and regulations humans construct

Note: My sculptural works often attempt to, but ultimately fail to comply with these roles, rules, and regulations. Due to this, they often feel othered.

Note on note: Performance/video works explore complex feelings of otherness

    Results:

-An intricately tessellated perspective + a biological lens+ lots of feelings

-Artworks that revere the fragments while recognizing their limitations

    Conclusions:

-In every cell that composes our skin, unbearable complexity

-In every moment and memory, intolerable depth
